A nature trail around this small pond at the High School is a very productive place to go birding! Spring is especially exciting with migratory shorebirds making an appearance and, as the season progresses, songbirds fill the trees. In fall, waterfowl and geese are plentiful. If you visit when school is in session, please just be mindful of students and staff.

How to get there

From the traffic light near Town Hall, take Route 3 west toward Tupper Lake for 0.8 miles. Just the other wide of a soccer field, take a right onto Edgewood Road. In 0.2 miles you'll see the pond on the right. You can turn right, into the school. There is ample parking near this entrance.

Birding
