Ice Fishing

Not known for size as much as liveliness; there is plenty of action by the end of the day. In the winter the flag is flying!

Fishing

Osgood Pond is considered an excellent fishery for largemouth bass and northern pike.

Boat launch

Take Route 30 south from Malone to the intersection of Route 86 and Route 30 in Paul Smiths. Turn left on Route 86, toward Saranac Lake. A few miles down take a left on White Pine Road. The state access boat launch is on the left.

Paddling

Hand Launch sites on Church Pond, Osgood Pond and Jones Pond allow paddlers to obtain access to all three waters and Jones Pond Outlet.
