Speaking of fresh air, how about a hike in the Adirondack Mountains?  Explore Adirondack Frontier is home to 4 of the 46 high peaks; not ready to take on that challenge?  No problem!  The Tupper Triad is a series of three hikes that are easier for those looking to try something new or just a bit more relaxing.  While you’re out exploring, Paul Smith’s College Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC) is a great place for family-friendly outdoor fun!  The walking trails at the VIC are well maintained and you never know what you’ll see although moose have been known to love the VIC!

If the water is calling out to you, don’t worry, we have you covered!   No need to bring your own kayak or canoe!  The Saint Regis Canoe Outfitters located in Saranac Lake has equipment to rent and will help you plan your paddling excursion, they even have a boat launch located on property to make it even easier.

When the sun sets, the action doesn’t!  The streets of downtown Saranac Lake are flooded with music!  The Waterhole Music Lounge is one of many stops downtown that offer live entertainment with a nice selection of pub fare to take in the local sounds!  Also located downtown is the remarkable Hotel Saranac, an upscale destination all on its own.  From dining at the Campfire Bar & Grill (the tableside s’mores are a must) to pampering yourself at the spa after a fun day of exploring, you’ll feel refreshed and ready for another day of adventure before heading home.
