BALLARD MILL DAM

The Malone campus of NCCC is housed in the former Ballard Mill, on the east side of town. The old dam for the mill is still in place. There is plenty of parking and the beautiful grounds of North County Community College make for a great backdrop.

This section of the river is stocked for the Hendrickson Hatch Catch and Release Fly Fishing Tournament, held the first weekend in June.
